Imagine that you eat the food whatever you like and still stay healthy. Imagine that you don’t do any workouts and still stay slim and fit. Are you thinking of someone of the kind in your remembrance? But wondering how it is possible? Let us discuss this.




We often see some people eating all kinds of junk food without doing any workouts. But still, they don’t become obese. Other people may feel jealous about such kind of people, but it is true. So how does it happens?


To understand this, first of all, you have to understand the 3 body types. These are


  • Ectomorph
  • Mesomorph
  • Endomorph
But before knowing about these body types, you have to understand what is BMR. So what is this BMR? 

The full form of BMR is Basal Metabolic Rate. BMR is the least number of calories required for basic functions at rest.

This indicates that even though if you are at rest there will be certain functions performed by the body. These are even while sleeping also. These include breathing, repairing cells, digestion, heartbeat, etc.

So, the number of calories required for performing the specified activities even at rest is the Basal Metabolic rate.

Now for a better understanding let us discuss the 3 body types starting in the reverse order i.e from endomorph.



Endomorph:


The characteristics of these people are 

  • It is easy for them to gain quick muscle.
  • They have more strength levels.

The important thing in them is that it is easy for them to gain fat.

At the same time, they have a very slow fat losing capacity. This is because they have got a lower BMR.

The lower the BMR indicates the lower metabolic rate. This again indicates that they have a slow-burning of calories. Hence weight reduction in these kinds of people is very slow.

Mesomorph:

The characteristics of these people are
  • They have a good level of muscle gain.
  • They have a good level of reducing fat.
This does not specify that it is easy for them to gain muscle and to reduce fat.

They can gain a good amount of muscle but less when compared to endomorphs. But, they can reduce more fat compared to endomorphs.

Ectomorph:

The characteristics of these people are

  • It is not easy for them to gain fat. Even though they eat a lot of junk foods, sweets, and cool drinks they won't gain weight.
  • They will have good muscle condition.
This is because of the higher BMR for these types of people. This indicates that the calories will burn fast for these kinds of people. Hence, it is not easy for them to gain weight.

So, that is the reason why these types of people will not appear obese. This is even after eating more junk foods, sweets, or even consuming sugary beverages.

This does not specify that they are free from all dangerous diseases. This is even though they eat junk foods. Especially these people suffer from low blood pressure and low diabetes etc.

Not only that, due to the fast metabolism, they are not able to gain the muscle also so easy. So, on the whole, it will be difficult for them to gain weight or gain muscle.

Last Word

It is the body type of the person that affects the fitness or appearance of the person.

For people who are Ectomorphs, it is easy for them to reduce fat but can only have less muscle. This is because of the fast metabolism.

For people who are Mesomorphs, they will have moderate weight loss and muscle gain. This is because of moderate metabolism.

For people who are Endomorphs, they will have a low-fat reduction and more muscle gain. This is because of slow metabolism.
